Henri Bendel stores across the nation are celebrating the brand’s birthday all week starting Monday June 2. Their huge celebration includes 30-40 percent off discounts for select items and free shipping for online shoppers who spend over $100. For an extra special treat, there will be an in-store event on Thursday June 5 at The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City and Tysons Galleria; where in-store shoppers will get extra discounts, a free Henri Bendel scarf with a purchase of $150 or more and tasty treats including cupcakes and champagne. Also on Thursday, She’s Unique jewelry boutique in Old Town is holding a Carnival themed event during the Old Town Block Party from 6-8pm. The ‘She’s Unique Carnival‘ will include delicious refreshments, discounts up to 30 percent off on their fabulous jewelry, an Instagram contest and to top it off, local blogger Natalie Pinto of The Fashionable Broke as the host. On Saturday June 7 The Yard Park in D.C. will be filled with chic and trendy fashion trucks for their first ever ‘Fashion Yards’ event. The boutiques present will be a mix of known fashion trucks and pop up trucks; including local fashion trucks like Style Ride and Street Boutique and some boutiques turning mobile like Charm Georgetown and Lettie Gooch. Besides fashion, the event will have an ice cream truck, a DJ and for those over 21, wine and champagne. The event is free to attend and is from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. allowing for an entire day of outdoor shopping.
